Critical evaluation of a blog

Hello everyone hope you had a great Easter! here is my critical evaluation of a blog.

Getz, S. J. Lieberman, M. and Mattoon, N. 2010 Book patrol a haven for book culture viewed 11 April 2010 http://www.bookpatrol.net/

When I stumbled across this blog it intrigued me; Book Patrol is as the title suggests is a blog devoted to books and book culture. the authority for this blog is Michael Lieberman who has co-owned Wessel & Lieberman book Sellers since 1992, has served on the board of the friends of the Seattle Public Library. Mr Lieberman is also a member of the national Book Critics Circle. i think this make him a very good authority for this blog.
There are so many categories for you to browse through I can't list them but there is Banned Books United States Education Reading High School Library Yahoo Censorship (1), ABC's of Book Collecting (23), and 1910 Paris Flood (1) just to name a few. there are also some great links to things like where you can buy antique books. no matter what sort of books you are interested in I am sure you will find some article in this blog that will tickle your fancy the other important thing about this blog is that is easy to use!! I would defiantly recommend take a look.

until next time happy blogging my faithful followers.

  1. This is good and an entertaining read, Sarah,. Just one thing you must say how authoritative the authors of the blog are, then I am really happy to give you CP for this annotation.

  2. This is a great site. The entries under the book burning tag were both hilarious and disturbing.

Note: Given that the posts often seem to be about current events relating to books and link to the websites of the people/organisations they're about or to relevant news articles I would say that this site is reasonably authoritative.
